Known for his cooking at the traditional Osnabrücker Kramermahl, head chef at the restaurants Bestial and Zoccalo, currently chef and manager of the university canteen.

Prof. Dr. Dirk Albach
Director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Oldenburg and scientist. He currently studies the preventive effect of Kale against cancer.

Petra Bley-Schultz
Management of Bley Fleisch- und Wurstwaren GmbH and committed to promoting Kale and Kale culture. The company Bley has produced the world´s longest “Pinkel” sausage. This sausage is part of the traditional Oldenburg Kale recipe.

Hans-Joachim Harms
Director of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture and responsible for Kale growing and pig breeding farmers.

Prof. Dr. Eberhard Haunhorst
President of the Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety - indispensible for the production of healthy food.

Renate Monse

Former owner of the traditional butcher shop Monse in the centre of Oldenburg, famously known for its tasty soups. Regretably, the shop had to be closed in 2015.
